travelling to palawan

Woke up as early as 4am to be in the T3 at least by 5:30.  I’m bound to Puerto Princesa Palawan. Had fly in via Air Phil Flight 941. I was expecting a very bumpy ride since its raining when we took off but although it’s cloudy, flight was not so bumpy.  Pilot was so good in the air unfortunately not during the landing.  If not for the seat belt I think I’ll bump my head to the seat in front of me when the plane had stopped so suddenly.

Took a tricycle going to Go Hotel cost is Ps100.00.

Book a room for one night, cost is Ps1,778.56 but was told by front liners to wait to be able to go my room since check-in time is 2:00 pm. I arrived at around 9:30am.  No recourse but to go the mall with my bags (Laptop and handbag) since they do not accept bag with laptop. Stayed at Jollibee ate breakfast and stayed for an hour.

Went to supermarket get some snacks and water then go back again to Go Hotel. (Its only about 5-10 minutes away)  Had opted to stay in the lobby.  So thankful they allow me to charge my laptop while waiting for the availability of the room.

So if you’re traveling to Puerto Princesa on business assignment and had to stay at Go Hotel, I advise you to get the 12:00pm schedule or later since its only an hour and 5 minutes from Manila to Puerto Princesa so you wouldn’t  wait for the 2pm allowable check-in or better yet book on-line or call 398-8788.  The operator will get your info and email your booking details. Print it and pay at any Robinsons Bank.  A confirmation email will be sent.  Print and present it to Hotel Receptionist together with your ID.

I've got a Crush On You

We went to Vigan via Tuguegarao. After our scheduled trade checks, we went to Baluarte, the famous park on this side of North Luzon. Can be reach in 15 minutes via local means of transportation. I have enjoyed watching the educational show the park people rendered. they give the audience a thrill of holding and touching the featured animals while a host narrates. It just unfortunate that its raining, and we were not able to ride a horse to tour us around. Mr. Chavit Singson had done a great job on this place.

trigger thumb

Ang hirap pala ng may trigger thumb. Hindi madiretso ang daliri at mahirap maglagay ng thumbmark. Di ko alam kung pano ako nagkaroon nito basta pag gising ko isang umaga masakit ang kamay ko at parang namamaga siya. Nagpacheck up ako sa Mega Clinic at iyon ang findings, dapat may 6 sessions ng theraphy kaya lang sa sobrang busy di kaya ng powers ko pumunta dun lagi as schedule. alanganin kasi. may work pa ko. Hindi ka naman pwede magpaalam lagi na pupunta dun. kaya heto masakit pa din.

SJMHS High School Chums

Akalain mo yun nagkita kita pa rin kami mga mag-classmates way back 19.... its been so many years before na magkatagpo kami ulit. Hindi maubos ang kwentuhan, tawanan at balitaan. Kulang ang maghapon.

Nung High School ang usapan mga crushes, love of your life, mga teachers na malulupit, ngayon mga anak na at MGA APO.

Pinakamasaya talaga ang high school sa lahat ng educational level na pagdadaanan ng isang nag-aral. Hindi mo matandaan kung sino ang mga naging classmates mo nung elementary at sa college ang natatandaan mo lang yung mga naging close mo. Pero sa high school kahit magkakaibang section, magkakakilala, magkakaibigan.

Mabuti na lang nauso na ang cellphones at emails, mas madalas na ang balitaan at mas madalas na pagkita-kita.

Wish ko lang sana mabuo ang batch namin.

Noon at Ngayon

Paghambingin nga natin

NOON ang mga punda, kumot, kubrekama pati na panyo ay ina-almerol ni Nanay para hindi daw madaling kapitan ng dumi at alikabok. Kaya mabenta nun ang cornstarch.

NGAYON, cotton at silk na ang ginagamit.

NOON sa paglalaba ginagamitan pa ng palo-palo para daw mas maalis ang dumi at mas maputi pag kinukula. Mas maaraw mas maputi. Kaya nga uso nun ang nakawan ng damit iniwan lang sa ibabaw ng kulahan. Ubos pa ang maghapon sa paglalaba lang.

NGAYON may washing machine. Hindi na masyadong mahirap magkusot. At sa pagbabanlaw. Gumamit lang “isang banlaw” sachet. Pakabanlaw i-dyer at isampay. May panahon na mag-window shopping. Window lang kasi nagtitipid.

NOON ang karamihan ang gamit sa hapag kainan, plato, baso, tasa, platito, pitsel,mangkok puro babasagin. Sa dalas ng pagaaway ng mga magasawa madaling maubos mga gamit na ito lalo na pag laging umuwi ng madaling araw ang lalaki. Kaya malakas ang business ng glassware company nun.

NGAYON puro hard plastic na, melaware. At mula plato hanggan baso iisa ang design. Minsan lumilipad pa din ang mga gamit pero hindi na ganun kadaling mabasag.

NOON pag nagluto ng kanin, dapat bantayan at kung mapabayaan, masusunog ito. Wala ng kakainin. Pwera na lang kung mahilig kang kumain ng tutong.

NGAYON may rice cooker na. Lagay mo lang ang nahugasang bigas, sabawan, at takpan. I-plug sa kuryente at i-on. Pwede ka ng mag telebabad at kung tinatamad ka pang magluto ng ulam, isabay mo na yung itlog sa sinaing. Pasingawan mo na rin ang kamatis.

NOON ang pag-i-init ng tubig kailangan din bantayan kung hindi tiyak na matutuyuan ang takure. Nakakahiya diba,. Tubig na lang nasunugan pa.

NGAYON, electric percolator lang ang katapat. I-plug lang kusa na itong mamamatay pag kumulo na.

NOON ang mga balita at drama kalimitan sa radio lang. Kaya damang dama mo ang mga malulungkot na salita.

NGAYON naka tv na. Kaya nga tele-radyo ang tawag.

NOON kahit sa panonood ng TV na e-exercise ka pa din. Kasi pag hindi mo gusto ang palabas tatayo ka para ilipat ang channel. Pag masyadong malakas ang electric fan ganun din. Na exercise ang paa mo at binti pati kamay.

NGAYON remote control ang katapat niyan. Kaya may 3 remote control sa center table.

NOON nagaaway mga bata sa telepono para tawagan mga classmate nila.

NGAYON bawat isa may cellphone.

Madami pa. Kayo naman ang sa iba pa.
